HIGHWAYS OF AGONY is another highway horrorshow classic by the genre's founder, former accountant and crime scene buttinsky Richard Wayman (and produced by Earle Deems). Specializing in educational films targeted at teenagers and schoolchildren, Wayman's Highway Safety Films were known for their voyeuristic scenes of automotive carnage in full color along with ghoulish, almost vindictive narration (here by Wayne Byers) that seems to delight at the idea of "careless" drivers paying for their distraction with their lives. Unlike Wayman's earlier SIGNAL 30, HIGHWAYS OF AGONY features a foreboding organ soundtrack as well as brief dramatizations to set-up for scenes of unflinching roadway atrocities. Readers of Ralph Nader's UNSAFE AT ANY SPEED may note a "leading candidate for the unsafest car title" Chevrolet Corvair among the wreckages. - Tom Fritsche

Our Agony Uncles and Aunts are back to discuss all things Christmas. If Christmas is meant to be a time for peace and love, then why does it throw so many lives into turmoil?

A young man ran away from his village because the traditional priestess wanted him killed. He was saved by Christians who trained him in the knowledge of Christianity and he became born again. He returned to his village where they were worshippers of lesser gods. His task of converting everyone in the village into a Christian was thwarted by the priestess of the land, who did not allow that to happen thereby engaging him in spiritual battle.

Minho went to the brothel without any money when the ajumma said that there was a pretty lady. She tried to run away when she came in with a gourd He is forced to deal with Ajumma at the threat of a harsh pimp. Minho ends up doing chores there because he doesn't have money. Then, the young and pretty Konno who came to the place wins her heart. Minho decides to escape the place with Konno. However, the two attempts to escape are discovered by a pimp and an ajumma... ​

"Agony" dealt with viewers problems. Some wonderful examples were "I can't have sex unless the family dog is in the room" and "I'm Stuffing the Turkey, He's Stuffing the Neighbour". The show was made by low budget TV station L!VE TV. Each "letter" (usually made up in a rush by some poor L!VE hack) would be dramatised and then discussed by the studio presenter and two agony aunts. The show also used bubble thoughts, an on-screen device to reveal what the character was actually thinking, although normally it was just a way to get away with crude jokes about sausages and "you came quickly". A damn good way to waste a half hour.
